The uses of IMDB

Have you ever been watching a movie and thought, "Who is that actor?! I have seen them before, but where?" The answer is www.imdb.com. The Internet Movie Database, known as IMDB, is a great resource and I am surprised that there are still so many people out there who have never even heard of it.

But IMDB is so much more than just a resource for looking up actors and movies. You can find out when new movies are coming out and their release dates 6 months or more in advanced. There are trailers and pictures, sign in to see reviews and comments or add your own; Find out what's playing now and what's coming soon to DVD; Buy tickets; There is even a tv guide; And now you can also play games and watch movies!

All on one site, so don't hesitate to add IMDB to your bookmarks and search engine listing!

J K Rowlings newest book!

Release date for "The Tales of Beadle the Bard" is December 4th, so make sure you have a copy on hold!

Our muggle fairy tales like "Cinderella" and "Sleeping Beauty" are like Harry Potter's wizard tales in "Tales of Beedle the Bard".  The first story is called the "The Wizard and the Hopping Pot".  A cauldron follows a young wizard around and around, clanging loudly, until he makes potions to help the people in the village.

Read the new Harry Potter book!  It is very enjoyable.

The Tales of Beedle the Bard, a Wizarding classic, first came to Muggle readers’ attention in the book known as Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Now, thanks to Hermione Granger’s new translation from the ancient runes, we present this stunning edition with an introduction, notes, and illustrations by J. K. Rowling, and extensive commentary by Albus Dumbledore. Never before have Muggles been privy to these richly imaginative tales: “The Wizard and the Hopping Pot,” “The Fountain of Fair Fortune,” “The Warlock’s Hairy Heart,” “Babbitty Rabbitty and Her Cackling Stump,” and of course, “The Tale of the Three Brothers.” But not only are they the equal of fairy tales we now know and love, reading them gives new insight into the world of Harry Potter. But not all of the characters are good, and not all of them are grateful. Now Mo and Meggie with the help of the story's hero must find a way to send them back before the disasterous events in the book play out in the real world.
